Tucker Carlson slams Don Lemon’s blatant hypocrisy on race issue

CNN’s Don Lemon is well known for his repeated insistence that America is a systemically racist country, often blaming former President Donald Trump and his supporters for contributing to the perceived problem.

But this week, Fox News’ Tucker Carlson absolutely annihilated Lemon on the subject in only a way that Carlson could. According to Fox News, the highly-rated primetime host point to a long list of reasons why Lemon is the last person who should be pulling the race and oppression cards, given the way that the CNN anchor lives his life.

In a recent interview with the Washington Post, Lemon credited Trump for exposing racism in America, saying the former president was “the necessary wake-up for America to realize just how racist it is.”

While Lemon attempts to play the everyman during his poorly-rated primetime show on the struggling network, Carlson reminded viewers that the CNN host lives a lifestyle that most people in America — Black or white — will never even come close to experiencing.

“Don Lemon lives in a $4.3 million-home in Sag Harbor, New York. No, he doesn’t live in Section 8 housing, he lives in one of the whitest towns in America. In fact, 80 percent, Sag Harbor is just three percent African-American,” Carlson said.

“In the interview, Mr. Lemon said America needs to see more people like him. He regularly lectures America about diversity. What he didn’t tell the Washington Post is that in his free time he runs away from diversity,” the Fox News host continued, adding that Lemon “doesn’t like diversity at all.”

Interestingly, Lemon’s new “woke” take on racism in America is vastly different than messages he used to push on his show. Carlson pointed to examples of Lemon criticizing rap music, telling Black people that they need to “clean up their act.”

“A culture that glorifies everything I just mentioned, thug and reprehensible behavior, a culture that is making a lot of people rich, just not you. And it’s not going to,” Lemon said in 2013, prior to the wave of social justice movements that kicked off in 2014.

Lemon would be excommunicated from the ranks of the progressive, corporate mainstream media if he said anything of the sort in today’s culture, proving that the CNN anchor is only interested in doing and saying whatever it takes to boost his show’s ratings.
