Top Democrat tells citizens to avoid travel, then gets caught jumping on a plane for Thanksgiving

We’ve seen it time and time again. Nancy Pelosi in the hair salon, Gavin Newsom in the high-end French resturant, and Lori Lightfoot with a hairstylist. Big government Democrats have repeatedly established one set of lockdown rules for the people, and a different one for themselves.

Now another high-profile Democrat with big political aspirations has been busted. Denver mayor Michael Hancock may have told Denverites to avoid travel on the holiday, but that doesn’t mean that he’s going to do that.

9news reports:

Denver Mayor Michael Hancock boarded a flight to Houston ahead of Thanksgiving despite his warnings that people should stay close to home and only spend the holiday with their own household if they can.

His spokeswoman confirmed that Hancock was traveling to Houston Wednesday to visit his daughter in Mississippi, and that his wife is already there.

About 30 minutes before the flight, Hancock’s account tweeted out to “avoid travel, if you can” in order to slow the spread of COVID-19.

What a clown. Byron York speaks for all of us:

I have an answer for that question. It’s because they think that they’re above the rules. Just like George Orwell’s “Animal Farm,” the slogan for Democrats is “all [people] are equal, but some are more equal than others.”

Mayor Hancock should resign immediately.
