Tesla CEO Elon Musk photographed in St. Tropz with new girlfriend, Natasha Bassett

Never one to be spared from intrusive media scrutiny into his professional or his personal endeavors, Tesla CEO Elon Musk was recently snapped by the paparazzi sharing a meal with new romantic interest Australian actress Natasha Bassett, as the Daily Mail reports.

The couple was seen dining at the tony Cheval Blanc hotel in St. Tropez, where they reportedly drank rosé, munched fries, and engaged in what to all outward appearances was a fun and relaxed chat.

Bassett, 27 and Musk, 50, are thought to have been an item since at least February of this year, which is when they were first seen together disembarking from the billionaire’s private plane in California.

The mercurial entrepreneur is known for his complicated and unconventional amorous entanglements, having previously been involved with Canadian singer Grimes, with whom he has two small children – with news of the second baby’s birth coming on the same day the pair’s latest breakup was also made public, as Fox Business reported back in March.

Musk and Grimes’ baby daughter’s arrival was made known to the world in a Vanity Fair profile of the musical artist, and contemporaneously with the article’s release, she took to Twitter to declare, “Me and E have broken up *again* since the writing of this article haha, but he’s my best friend and the love of my life, and my life and art are forever dedicated to The Mission now… .”

Prior to that, the duo welcomed a son in May of 2020, to whom they refer as “X,” a child Grimes, whose real name is Claire Elise Boucher, explained is viewed by Mush as “ a protégé.”

Well before his involvement in the high-profile relationships that currently serve as so much tabloid fodder, Musk married first wife Justine Wilson, and together the couple had six children, one of whom died in infancy.

Musk then wed British actress Talulah Riley in 2010, divorcing in 2012, only to remarry and divorce yet again within a few short years.

Given the left’s loudly proclaimed opposition to Musk’s pending purchase of Twitter and his commitment to restoring the platform’s status as a haven for free expression, it seems likely that the details of his roller coaster love life will continue to be the source of endless gossip, mean-spirited speculation, and undue curiosity for the foreseeable future.
