Supreme Court announcement: Justice Alito’s warning

For all the Democrats bluster about what a threat Donald Trump is to our civic institutions, the real threat has always been from them. Now a member of the nation’s highest court is warning Americans that they’re in danger of losing the integrity of the Supreme Court itself.

Justice Samuel Alito made waves in a speech given to a meeting of the conservative Federalist Society, where he warned that Democratic efforts to “pack” the Supreme Court are a danger to the republic.

Simply put, Alito believes that there are major threats to the integrity of the Court, and those threats are coming from the left. He’s right.

Fox notes that Alito “also said that houses of worship have been treated unfairly compared to other businesses during the pandemic, like in the case of casinos in Nevada.”

“Nevada was unable to provide any justification for treating casinos more favorably than other houses of worship.”

He also noted that “In certain quarters religious liberty has fast become a disfavored right…For many today, religious liberty is not a cherished freedom. It’s often just an excuse for bigotry and it can’t be tolerated even when there’s no evidence that anybody has been harmed.”

Of course, the liberal response was bullying, hysterical, and confirmed just about everything Alito warned about. Take for example, this tweet by Elizabeth Warren.

If anyone knows about being a “political hack” it’s Elizabeth Warren.

A much more reasonable response to Alito’s speech was this tweet from South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem:
