Second CNN producer reportedly involved in sex scandal with underage girl: Report

To say CNN has had a bad year would be nothing less than a major understatement. From the firing of Chris Cuomo, to bad ratings, to a high-level producer being arrested for sexual misconduct with minors, the Biden-friendly network is an absolute dumpster fire of bad press.

Unfortunately for CNN brass, it looks as though they’re facing yet another scandal on the pedophilia front, as Red State reported this week that Rick Saleeby, a producer for Jake Tapper’s daily show, was outed by conservative watchdog Project Veritas.

The information reportedly came from a source who was worried that turning in the evidence they had against Saleeby to the authorities and/or CNN would not receive the proper attention.

“There have been many requests from other journalists and media outlets to name the subject in Wednesday’s tragic story involving a CNN producer. After ensuring the family involved is safe, Project Veritas has made the decision to release the name, Rick Saleeby,” Project Veritas reported on its website.

Among the many allegations Saleeby faces by the source who outed him, some of those involve text messages in which he reportedly offered money in exchange for nude pictures of a minor. “I won’t describe the text messages in question, as they are graphic and it’s simply not necessary. Rest assured that they are disgusting,” Red State wrote.

The report went on to suggest that the text messages in question are undoubtedly “criminal.”

After Project Veritas broke the bombshell story, the mother who sent in the text messages thanked the outlet for shining the spotlight on the situation, even though as of this writing, there’s no hard reports on the possible scandal across the mainstream media.

“I wanted to reach out to sincerely thank you again. I am very grateful toward you guys and everything you’ve done for me and my children. Our world has just been completely flipped upside down, but none of that matters. We are all safe. I’m hoping, praying, and pushing for charges to be brought against him, so he can never do this to another child/family again,” the unnamed woman wrote in an email.

Only time will tell if this develops into yet another major CNN sex scandal, but one thing’s for sure: CNN needs to do a deep-clean of their in-house talent, as it’s not unreasonable to question whether there are more staffers there who might be on the wrong side of the law.
