Rising Democrat star resigns after multiple sexual assault allegations

Another day, another Democrat accused of sexual misconduct by multiple women.

According to the Washington Examiner, the latest Democrat to face allegations of sexual harassment and sexual assault is Windsor, California Mayor Dominic Foppoli, who recently announced that he will step down as a result of the allegations, with one of them stemming from reality TV star Farrah Abraham.

Foppoli’s resignation announcement came on the heels of a six-week investigation led by the San Francisco Chronicle, which detailed the accounts of no less than nine women who claimed they were victims of the California mayor’s inappropriate conduct.

Even as he submitted his resignation, which will reportedly be effective immediately, Foppoli insisted that he’s done nothing wrong.

“I have always and will always maintain that I did not engage in any non-consensual sexual acts with any woman,” the mayor said.

Foppoli also specifically addressed the sexual assault claims from Abraham, a social media influencer and star of the hit series “Teen Mom,” saying that not only are her claims false but suggested that the timing of the claims seemed to be on the convenient side.

“I recently learned that a woman in Palm Beach, Florida is accusing me of non-consensual acts while I was visiting there in March of this year. She made her allegations after she learned of the April 8, 2021 San Francisco Chronicle story. I have no doubt she is making these allegations in an attempt to leverage the situation to her advantage,” Foppoli said with regard to Abraham’s allegation.

The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office in California has taken the lead on investigating the multiple accusations Foppoli currently faces, though there’s no information available on what, if any, progress they’ve made.

  1. I’m sure he would be the first to emphasize “IT’S NO BIG THING” and the ladies involved would second the thought
