Pelosi’s stooge photographed maskless at a meeting where he was advocating for masks

Dr. Brian Monahan, the Attending Physician for the House of Representatives was caught on camera without his mask during a meeting with lawmakers, according to The Daily Caller

Attention was brought to the doctors actions, due to the fact that he was at the meeting to defend the House’s new mask mandate to Republican members.

“Photos obtained exclusively by the Daily Caller show Monahan, a Rear Admiral in the U.S. Navy, speaking to a room full of House Republicans on Wednesday afternoon,” the Daily Caller reported.

“Monahan announced Tuesday night that representatives would be required to wear masks regardless of vaccination status. The Senate has not reinstituted a mask mandate.”

The seeming contradiction in terms comes as House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy announced the meeting between the doctor and Republican lawmakers, who have stood against mandates in the past.

Punchbowl’s Jake Sherman reported about the meeting with the House Republican Conference on Twitter:

It’s estimated that over 85 percent of representatives and staffers were vaccinated against COVID-19 at the time, according to the Daily Caller.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi previously instituted $500 fines for the members of the House who refused to wear masks at the beginning of the previous congressional session. At least three Republicans have been fined, including Florida’s Brian Mast, Iowa’s Mariannette Miller-Meeks, and Texas’ Beth Van Duyne.
