Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley told “America Reports” Wednesday that President Joe Biden’s “obsession” with undoing the previous administration’s border policies was “unacceptable” according to Fox News.
“We had the solution. I mean, the Trump administration had the same migrant problem, but they fixed it. And what they did was they used tough love with our friends,” Haley said.
The former UN Ambassador explained the relationship between the United States and several countries whose residents have been coming across the southern border in droves.
“And what the [former] president did was he gave them tough love. He said, ‘This is what we expect of you. We will partner with you, but you’ve got to control the situation in your country. If they want asylum, they have to apply from there. From there.’”
Haley went on to share her dark opinion of Biden handing the crisis off to Vice President Kamala Harris saying that “This is the same person that encouraged 7,000 migrants to come to America.”
The former South Carolina governor also reminded viewers that Harris equated Immigrations and Customs Enforcement to the KKK.
“And God help us if she ever becomes president because if this is how she handles a crisis, I mean, I just can’t imagine how she would run our country. And so it’s really devastating.”
Haley isn’t saying anything that conservatives the nation over aren’t saying about the current administration’s handling of the southern border. Some seem less ready to call the VP out for fear of being called racist or sexist.
Haley has been able to distance herself from much of the identity politics of today thanks to the shield of herself being a “woman of color” due to her Indian descent.
