President Joe Biden appears to have met with son Hunter’s business associates from Kazakhstan at Café Milano in Washington, DC, despite his earlier claims to the contrary, according to Breitbart News.
Biden told reporters in August 2019 while campaigning in South Carolina: “I have never discussed, with my son or my brother or with anyone else, anything having to do with their businesses. Period.”
A recent report from The New York Post cited by Breitbart seems to confirm the publication’s earlier assertion from October of last year that the then-Vice President did indeed meet with the foreign associates.
Breitbart reported at the time that a photograph of both Joe and Hunter Biden with Rakishev and [Kazakhstan’s former prime minister, Karim] Massimov appeared to have been taken at the D.C. cafe.
The location was ascertained from the iconic logo that could be seen in the background, though the photograph’s date is still unknown.
That report was backed by the Post’s more recent article that stated that, “Joe Biden met with Ukrainian, Russian and Kazakhstani business associates of his son’s at a dinner in Washington, DC, while he was vice president, records on Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop show.
“The dinner, on April 16, 2015, was held in the private “Garden Room” at Café Milano, a Georgetown institution whose catchphrase is: “Where the world’s most powerful people go.”
This meeting was just one day before Hunter Biden received an April 17, 2015 email from a senior member of the Ukrainian energy company, Burisma, thanking Hunter for introducing him to his father, which came to light thanks to the infamous Hunter Biden laptop which was brought to public attention last October.
Biden has consistently denied business dealings with his son’s foreign connections. It’s unclear how a media that showed such intense attention to Russian connections for years can overlook such a blatant contradiction, but the mainstream has somehow managed to do so.
