New poll reveals Trump would trounce Biden in hypothetical 2024 rematch

Any supporter of former President Donald Trump would have told you without hesitation that Trump would beat Joe Biden in a 2024 rematch, but now the numbers are showing that it’s more than just hopeful thinking.

A Rasmussen Reports poll revealed that amid President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’ sinking poll numbers, if a hypothetical 2024 rematch was held today, the former president would trounce the struggling Biden by a 50%-36% margin.

It’s not even close. But what’s more, voters are seemingly so turned off by Biden and his ridiculously ineffective and downright dangerous administration, that by a margin of nearly 2-1, voters don’t even want him to make another run for the White House in 2024.

“A majority of voters think President Joe Biden shouldn’t seek reelection in 2024, and he would lose a rematch with former President Donald Trump by double-digit margins,” the Rasmussen survey read.

It added: “Sixty-one percent (61%) of likely U.S. voters believe Biden should not run for a second term as president in 2024. Only 28% say Biden should seek reelection, while another 11% are not sure.”

“If the next presidential election were held today, and Biden were running against Trump, 50% would vote for Trump while 36% would vote for Biden,” the survey continued, spelling terrible news for the Democratic Party as the 2022 midterms approach.

The survey also noted that Biden is losing support, rapidly, from key demographics that he counted on in 2020, including Blacks, Hispanics, and women voters.

“Among Hispanics, just 43% have a favorable opinion and only 31% want him to run in the 2024 presidential election,” the survey analysis said. “Women voters — a key to Biden’s 2020 victory — have soured on the president, with only 26% wanting him to run again.”
