The drama within President Joe Biden’s White House could reach new levels in the coming days and weeks, as unhappy staffers are reportedly eyeing the exits as the administration continues to go down in flames, according to a Politico report.
Even more embarrassing for the failing administration is that according to Fox News, the unhappy staffers in Biden’s White House anonymously leaked reports that they’re experiencing low morale in an effort to bring the matter to the attention of senior staffers.
“The result: many White House aides are feeling gloomy this holiday season, so much so that they anonymously fumed to West Wing Playbook in the hope it may alert senior leaders to the problem,” the Politico report revealed.
The report also reveals that Biden isn’t apparently as transparent as he promised to be during his 2020 campaign, if staffers are forced to leak reports to the press in an effort to bring change to an increasingly gloomy situation within the walls of the White House.
One anonymous staffer added: “It’s also hypocritical and ironic that a President whose brand is built on empathy and family has staff policies that fly in the face of that brand. It’s not a good look and it’s emblematic of how this place runs.”
“A lot of the natural coordination that happens in a typically functioning White House has been lost, and there has been no proactive effort to make up for it through intentional team building,” one of the anonymous officials indicated.
What this means for Biden, reportedly, is that some of the staffers are juicing up their resumes with the intention of leaving the White House after the president’s one-year anniversary in office, which could spark a whole new round of devastatingly bad press for a struggling administration.
The same atmosphere, Fox noted, is on display within the office of Vice President Kamala Harris, with more reported staffer exits on the way, after a series of high-profile departures last month.
It’s clear at this point that not only do millions of Democratic voters have varying cases of buyer’s remorse, but apparently, even the administration’s own staffers are questioning their decision to join the team. How sad.
