McDonald’s is probably best known for its french fries, and apparently, they’re so good that people are literally getting shot over them.
At least that was the case recently in Brooklyn, New York, according to the New York Post. According to police, a Brooklyn McDonald’s worker is clinging to life after being shot over an order of french fries.
The Post noted: “The 23-year-old victim was working at the fast-food joint at 1531 Fulton St. in Bedford-Stuyvesant around 7 p.m. Monday when he started getting hassled by a female customer over her fries, the source said.”
The female customer was FaceTiming her 20-year-old son while arguing with the McDonald’s worker, and not long after, the son reportedly burst into the restaurant and began fighting with the McDonald’s worker.
“The mom complained that her fries were cold,” the police source reportedly said. “The mom was on FaceTime with her son, and he heard the dispute between her and the clerk. The son and the clerk got into a dispute inside, and it went outside.”
How’s New York these days? A 23-year-old worker at McDonald’s is clinging to life after being shot at point blank range because the french fries were cold. You can be sure the alleged shooter will be released without bail.https://t.co/GxAWwO2qAo

The Post added: “A single spent 9mm casing was recovered at the scene and the suspected shooter was taken into custody, police sources said. Charges have yet to be filed.”
The worker who was shot point blank in the neck is listed as being in “extremely critical condition,” the outlet said. His friends and family at the hospital praised him as a “good guy,” and were distraught that someone could have shot him over french fries.
Hopefully, the victim will get the justice he deserves and the shooter will be locked away for a long time to come.
