Any honest or even casual observer knows by this point in time that Vice President Kamala Harris is in dire political trouble. With sinking polls and overall unlikability at record lows, Harris appears to be grasping at straws.
According to Red State, the vice president recently taped an interview with CBS News, and while the interview is not set to be broadcast until Sunday, some snippets have already leaked. In one of those clips, Harris reportedly said she believes the most pressing national security issue at the moment is “our democracy,” proving just how far out of touch she truly is.
VP’s interview on CBS:
“BRENNAN: What do you see is the biggest national security challenge confronting the U.S.? What is the thing that worries you & keeps you up at night?
HARRIS: Frankly, one of them is our democracy. And that I can talk about because that’s not classified”

Of course, Harris was likely referencing the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, and while that situation was certainly a stain on America’s report card, it hardly poses a threat to “our democracy.” That was proven after absolutely nothing happened in the nation’s capital after the riot, as the Capitol building was fenced off like a prison yard and thousands of National Guard troops twiddled their thumbs for months, waiting to go home.
Oddly, her referencing of “classified” information was her continued canned response when asked questions about national security policy.
Many believe that her standard response is indicative of just how little she knows and just how plain awful she is at her job. She’s clearly unable to discuss important topics, and when asked important, reasonable questions by the mainstream media, she typically responds with her trademark, cringeworthy cackle laugh.
It reminds one of why Harris was forced to drop out of the 2020 Democratic presidential primaries before even the first caucus vote was cast. Nobody likes her, she’s unskilled, and she only became vice president because of her skin color and gender.
Undoubtedly, at this very moment, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) is likely scrambling to find a viable replacement for Harris before the likely one-term President Joe Biden bows out in 2024.
Harris truly had a chance to shine, given that she’s the first female vice president in U.S. history, but it only took a few months for America to realize that she’s a total dud.
