Hunter Biden’s business partner visited Obama White House 19 times, secured presidential appointment – report

While he was serving as then-President Barack Obama’s vice president in 2010, President Joe Biden had a meeting in the West Wing of the White House with a close business partner of his son, Hunter, a new report says.

“Visitor logs from the White House of former President Barack Obama reviewed by The Post cast further doubt over Joe Biden’s claims that he knew nothing of his son’s dealings,” the New York Post reported Friday.

“Eric Schwerin met with Vice President Biden on November 17, 2010 in the West Wing, when he was the president of the since-dissolved investment fund Rosemont Seneca Partners,” the outlet added.

Schwerin helped found Rosemont Seneca Partners with a group of business partners that included Hunter Biden and Christopher Heinz, the stepson of former Secretary of State John Kerry, according to Reuters.

The report about the 2010 White House meeting comes as Hunter Biden has faced accusations of using his father as “leverage” in his many foreign business dealings, Fox News noted.

Citing visitor logs, the Post reported that Schwerin paid at least 19 visits to the White House from 2009 to 2015.

“Of all Hunter Biden’s business associates, Schwerin had the most intimate access to the vice president’s personal finances,” the Post reported.

“His deep involvement in the personal and professional lives of both Bidens were first revealed in emails contained on a laptop abandoned by Hunter Biden at a Delaware computer repair store in April 2019,” the outlet said. “Hard drive emails show he was involved in Joe Biden’s personal taxes and discussed the vice president’s financial future with him.”

That’s not all.

“The logs also reveal that Schwerin met with various close aides of both Joe and Jill Biden at key moments in Hunter’s life when he was striking multi-million dollar deals in foreign countries, including China,” the Post reported.

Meanwhile, a 2015 press release from the Obama White House shows that Obama nominated Schwerin to be a member of the Commission for the Preservation of America’s Heritage Abroad.

“Eric D. Schwerin is Founding Partner and Managing Director at Rosemont Seneca Partners, LLC, positions he has held since 2008,” the release read.

Now, Republicans are demanding answers.

”Not everyone gets to meet the Vice President of the United States in the White House. The press should be asking why Hunter Biden’s business associates — like Eric Schwerin — had that privilege and were given access to the Obama White House,” Republican Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson told the Post.

“This is additional evidence that Joe Biden lied when he said he never discussed Hunter’s foreign business dealings. It’s well past time for the corporate media to demand the truth from Joe Biden. The corruption of Biden Inc. must be exposed.”
