GOP lawmakers pledge probe of Hunter Biden payments to Russia-linked escorts

Though far too many have turned a blind eye for far too long when it comes to the innumerable Biden family scandals, Republican lawmakers are now vowing to probe payments first son Hunter Biden reportedly made to Russia-linked escorts, for whose services the president himself may have inadvertently paid, as the Washington Examiner reports.

As the Examiner noted in a separate report, information from Hunter Biden’s infamous abandoned laptop reveals that over the course of more than three months between 2018 and 2019, the president’s son spent no less than $30,000 on escorts associated with an “.ru” email address, which denotes Russian origins.

Even more alarming is the fact that the now-commander in chief may have actually funded Hunter’s debauched escapades, in that records also show that he wired his son upwards of $100,000 in the middle of the time period at issue.

Indeed, a Senate investigatory report from 2020 stated that “Hunter Biden paid nonresident women who were nationals of Russia or other Eastern European countries” and that some of the transactions in question were connected to what “appears to be an Eastern European prostitution or human trafficking ring.”

Though there is, according to the Examiner, no evidence as of yet to suggest that Joe Biden was aware of where his money was going, Republican legislators are now pledging to get to the bottom of what actually occurred.

“If I’m reelected and Republicans gain the majority, I would become chairman of the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations,” said Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI). “In that position, I will continue to investigate the corruption and potential criminal activity that Chuck Grassley and I exposed in our September 2020 report which included Hunter Biden’s financial transactions that were linked to what appeared to be an ‘Eastern European prostitution or human trafficking ring.’”

Johnson continued, offering an indictment of players beyond the president and those closest to him. “As bad as the sleaze and corruption of the Biden Inc. family is, what troubles me even more is the complicity and corruption of the legacy media and certain elements within our federal law enforcement and intelligence agencies. That corruption needs to be investigated.”

Undeterred and unashamed, however, the Bidens continued their defiant approach to the electorate, with Hunter taking a front-row seat at the White House Thursday during a Presidential Medal of Freedom presentation ceremony, as the New York Post reported.

With the emergence last week of a recorded voice message from Joe Biden to Hunter Biden seeming to give lie to the president’s repeated protestations that he remained in the dark about his son’s foreign business dealings and revelations that the administration sold a million barrels from the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve to a Chinese government-controlled firm, one wonders if enough investigative resources even exist to plumb the true depths of the first family’s brazen corruption.
