Gingrich says Biden is OUT – predicts Hillary Clinton will run in 2024

If you once thought the idea of a rematch between former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and former President Donald Trump was nothing more than a joke, pay attention, because former speaker Newt Gingrich believes it could happen.

According to the Washington Examiner, Gingrich, who undoubtedly has the inside track to this day on Capitol Hill, said he not only believes President Joe Biden will in no way run again in 2024, but added that he’s heard rumors that Clinton could make another go at the top job.

“I fully expect Biden to not run again. I think the Democratic Party would be in a state of shock if he did,” Gingrich said during a Fox News interview.

He added: “So the last rumor I heard was that Hillary is going to run, and I think it would say a lot about the chaos of America if Hillary Clinton reemerged one more time.”

The former Republican speaker made the comments on the heels of an ABC interview during which Biden said he’d run once again assuming he was in “good health,” which many seriously doubt, given that it doesn’t take a medical degree to agree that Biden is experiencing age-related cognitive decline.

Not only that, but Gingrich said Biden’s mishandling of the COVID-19 pandemic has weakened the president, and the Democratic Party in general.

“He is already weaker than Jimmy Carter was at this stage. And Carter went down to the worst Electoral College defeat of any incumbent president in modern history,” Gingrich said.

Like many other political pundits — from both sides of the aisle — Gingrich also believes Republicans will storm the 2022 midterms and regain majority control in at least the House of Representatives.

It’ll be beyond interesting to see if Clinton decides to toss her hat in the ring, especially as Vice President Kamala Harris has proven to be a non-starter, given her unlikability and her embarrassingly low polling numbers in under one year in the White House.
