General surgeon Dr. Jeffrey Horak fired after defending the rights of parents to make medical decisions for their children

Minnesota general surgeon Dr. Jeffrey Horak has been fired from regional healthcare provider Lake Region Healthcare after claiming that parents should make healthcare decisions for their children.

Dr. Horak’s seemingly reasonable claims are somehow no longer acceptable, and it cost him his job. There is a movement to take away decision-making power from parents, and any who stand in the way of that will be silenced and canceled.

Dr. Horak said after his dismissal that, “I am a man who believes individuals have the right to do their research and decide what is best for them and their children when it comes to their health. I don’t believe governments or institutions should dictate that. It’s a position I’ve always have taken. And when the science doesn’t make sense to me, it’s hard for me to go along.”

Dr. Horak made his comments during a school board meeting in the Fergus Falls school districts on October 11th.

His claims sought to defend the right of parents to make medical decisions over their children in the context of parents rebelling against school mask mandates. That same situation is happening nationwide, and many who defend parents have been hit hard.

Dr. Horak is attempting to defend American families and, most importantly, American children. The sickening act of enforcing mask mandates on children despite their proven inability to prevent the spread of coronavirus is the real problem here.

America needs more brave doctors to stand up and defend the rights of parents to make decisions for their children.
