Former FBI Assistant Director calls for “deprograming” of Trump supporters.

A shocking piece at Liberty Nation reveals that top members of the intelligence services are actively talking about a “deprogramming” process for Trump supporters.

“In an astonishing interview posted at the leftist website Salon on Feb. 8, a former assistant director for counterintelligence at the FBI denounced the unrest at the U.S. Capitol last month as a “function” of “a radicalization process for the last four years under the Trump administration” that is “eerily similar” to how Islamic terrorists operate.”

“What we also saw with the events at the Capitol on Jan. 6 was a function of radicalization, which is true of international terrorism as well,” Frank Figliuzzi, who now serves as a national security contributor for NBC News, told Salon’s Chauncey Devega.

The ex-FBI agent called for “a more holistic, societal response that involves all hands on deck in terms of companies, government and law enforcement, everybody pulling together for a de-radicalization approach” against what he labeled “domestic terror.”

“That must happen. That is complicated. You’ve got to deprogram some people who believe Joe Biden didn’t win the election.”

Does anyone else find this “deprogramming” rhetoric deeply terrifying? It’s like something out of the Gulag Archipelago or Mao’s Cultural Revolution.
