Elon Musk slams Dem Party and its ties to large labor unions

Tesla billionaire Elon Musk, who has become increasingly more politically active and transparent in past months as he attempts to acquire Twitter and take it private, recently revealed his thoughts on the connections he believes the Democratic Party has to labor unions, and its impact on his own company.

According to Fox Business, Musk made the comments during a recent meeting of the Tesla Owners Silicon Valley club.

Musk has taken issue with the Biden administration for leaving Tesla out of a recent electric vehicles event simply because the company isn’t unionized, even though it’s the most cutting-edge electric vehicle operation on the planet, arguably the most important in the field.

“Last year, Biden held an EV summit where Tesla was explicitly not allowed to come, but the [United Auto Workers] was. So, Tesla has made two-thirds of all the electric vehicles in the United States.”

Musk added: “So, deliberately excluding us from an EV summit at the White House — but including UAW — tells you everything you need to know.”

“The general public is not aware of the degree to which unions control the Democratic Party. One does not need to speculate on this point,” Musk said at the meeting.

“That’s some next-level insanity,” Musk said, referring to an instance of Biden praising GM CEO Mary Barra at the EV summit for the so-called “EV revolution,” even though the company had only delivered 26 electric vehicles.

Musk’s success continues to prove why unions are not what they used to be, but are only now interested in two things — more money and more political connections, which equal political favors. They no longer care about their members, that much is perfectly clear.
