Dr. Lahita weighs in on Biden’s COVID diagnosis

President Joe Biden announced just days ago that he tested positive for COVID-19, a  diagnosis that has led many to re-examine his less than typical remarks Wednesday at a climate change press event.

According to a report by Fox News, “Immunity Strong” author Dr. Bob Lahita dug into the president’s verbal missteps on Wednesday when he spoke at the climate change event.

Lahita’s comments were made on Wednesday’s edition of “Your World,” where the medical professional talked about the potential side effects of COVID and how they might impact Biden

“Well, it can last, Neil, anywhere from a month to six months to a year,” Lahita said. “Actually, the COVID virus. Yeah, the coronavirus selects neural tissue. It really prefers to live in the brain a thousand times more than in the rest of the body. And that’s why people lose their smell and their sense of taste.

“That is a sign that the virus has affected the nervous system. So it’s not surprising that more than 20% of people get what’s called “brain fog.”

“And we see it all the time in our clinics. We see young people in their 20s and 30s coming in saying they can’t balance the checkbook, they don’t know where they’re going, they have no sense of direction, et cetera. So that is possible. And it’s possible that the president may experience some of this.”

President Biden’s COVID-19 infection might have occurred anywhere, according to White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, but what matters is that he was properly immunized and double-boosted, according to Fox News.

According to the White House, Biden tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday morning and is currently dealing with moderate symptoms like a runny nose, an infrequent dry cough, and exhaustion.

During a news conference, journalists questioned Dr. Ashish Jha, the White House’s coordinator for the coronavirus response, about the possible source of Biden’s infection. Jha replied that he didn’t know, and Jean-Pierre jumped in to add that it wasn’t significant.
