Dem strategist admits the party is ‘on fire’ because of Biden’s decisions

Democrats were already facing insurmountable odds as far as making any headway in the upcoming 2022 midterms, but President Joe Biden’s performance has only served to make the situation much worse.

In a recent piece by The Hill, Democratic strategists revealed that they are fully aware of the trouble they’re in as the November election nears, and sounded the alarm. One Dem strategist was quoted as admitting that their “house is on fire,” and not in a good way.

“It’s infuriating,” said the unnamed strategist, presumably regarding Biden’s polling numbers and recent surveys that indicate the American voter is blaming Biden for all of America’s problems. “Our house is on fire and it seems like they’re doing nothing to put the fire out. They’re just watching it with the rest of us.”

Some Dem strategists are encouraging the White House to immediately shift course while there’s still time to do so before the upcoming elections.

“There’s the administrative part of the job and the political part of the job, and it seems like this president is leaning more in the administrative role at a time when his coalition is thirsty for political clarity and leadership,” said Democratic strategist Joel Payne.

Payne added: “The president and his team have to be vigilant about providing that and balance the need to do both.”

The news comes in the wake of a shocking Monmouth University poll that simply couldn’t be ignored even by media outlets most friendly to the White House.

The poll indicated that nearly 9 out of 10 Americans believe that America is on the wrong track under President Biden at this time. Only 10% believe the country is on the right track, which happens to be the lowest number in that type of poll in nearly a decade.

Biden, and his administration, seem to be bleeding support from its core base, which will also add to the disaster in November.
