CNN+ dead on arrival, set to shut down on April 30th

Liberal mainstream media juggernaut CNN has announced they will be shutting down their streaming service, CNN+, after just one month of being online. The service was lauded as a gamechanger but instead crashed and burned and will be shutting down on April 30th.

The tens of customers that subscribed to CNN+ “will receive prorated refunds of subscription fees,” according to a statement from the company.

Warner Bros. Discovery streaming boss J.B. Perrette issued a statement saying, “In a complex streaming market, consumers want simplicity and an all-in service which provides a better experience and more value than stand-alone offerings, and, for the company, a more sustainable business model to drive our future investments in great journalism and storytelling.”

What Perrette didn’t mention is that there simply isn’t a market for the kind of content that CNN is putting out, thanks to the organization’s blatant partisanship and lack of public trust.

Americans outside of the far-left side of the political spectrum have long recognized that CNN is simply a propaganda outlet for the Democrat Party, and as such, CNN has difficulty growing its audience.

To make matters worse, those Americans who still watch are leaving in droves. CNN’s prime-time viewership has dropped 70% since last year amid a string of scandals that have rocked the organization.

With CNN’s standard product suffering, many were right to be skeptical of CNN+’s viability in a market that is becoming increasingly dominated by conservative media.

Fox News has savaged CNN in the ratings war, and things aren’t getting any better as the political climate continues its right-ward sway.

Many predicted that CNN+ would be dead on arrival, and those predictions were frighteningly accurate. The mainstream media is dying, and CNN+’s immolation is just the latest sign of that phenomenon, much to the delight of conservatives around the nation.
