Brian Laundrie flew home to clean out a storage unit and rejoined Gabby days before her death

According to a recently released report recently deceased Gabby Petito was alone for a period of time after her now-infamous fight with boyfriend Brian Laundrie prior to her death.

The Daily Wire reported that Laundrie flew home to Florida where his parents live just after he was caught by police fighting with his girlfriend in Utah. Laundrie then rejoined Petito just before she vanished during their van trip across multiple states.

The New York Post reported that Laundrie flew home and closed out a rented storage unit and got supplies, according to his family lawyer.

“The lawyer, Steven Bertolino, revealed the twist in the case’s timeline to The Post on Tuesday, saying Brian returned to his parent’s home in North Port on Aug. 17 and then flew back to Salt Lake City on Aug. 23 to rejoin Petito.”

“Brian flew home to obtain some items and empty and close the storage unit to save money as [he and Petito] contemplated extending the road trip,” Bertolino said in a text to the paper. “To my knowledge, Brian and Gabby paid for the flights, as they were sharing expenses.”

Petito was last seen just 10 days later at a restaurant in Wyoming on August 27, and Laundrie returned home alone in her van on September 1.

Petitio’s body was found on September 19 near a campsite at the Teton-Bridger National Forest in Wyoming and her death a homicide by the coroner.

Laundrie has since disappeared and the Petito family attorney Richard Stafford said on the “Dr. Phil” show on CBS-TV that “You can look at his state of mind by his actions.”

“He ran, he stole her credit card, he used her credit card to get home, and then ran from the police. That’s going to show a lot what he was thinking back then.”
