Biden’s halt to oil and gas productions on federal lands put to an end

President Joe Biden’s executive order to halt oil and gas productions on federal lands was paused on Monday after a federal judge issued a nationwide injunction.

According to Breitbart News, a lawsuit launched by Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry and joined by 12 other states took the Biden administration to task over the order and they received consideration from the judge in the case on Monday.

“This is a victory not only for the rule of law, but also for the thousands of workers who produce affordable energy for Americans,” Landry said.

“The President’s Executive Order abandons middle-class jobs, cripples our economy, and hits everyday Americans where it hurts the most – their pocketbooks.”

The attorney general went on to say that Biden’s order, which was issued under the guise of incremental health, is, in reality, bad for the environment:

“What’s more it attacks Louisiana’s coast by reducing the revenue and royalties used for coastal restoration and hurricane protection,” Landry said.

“By executive fiat, Joe Biden and his administration have single-handedly driven the price of energy up – costing the American people where it hurts most, in their pocketbooks,” Landry said when the lawsuit was filed.

“Biden’s executive orders abandon middle-class jobs at a time when America needs them most and put our energy security in the hands of foreign countries, many of whom despise America’s greatness.”

The oil and gas production on federal lands isn’t the only energy problem Biden has created since taking office. Since being inaugurated in January of this year, Biden has also damaged multiple economies in the western states by shutting down the Keystone XL Pipeline.
