Biden seen carrying photographic cheat sheet on visit to storm-ravaged Louisiana

Any live appearance by President Joe Biden carries with it the potential for yet another gaffe, misstep, or malaprop, and judging by his appearance in Louisiana on Friday – at which he was caught on camera carrying a photographic cheat sheet – his staff is always on high alert to try to prevent the next embarrassing moment.

As the Washington Examiner reports, Biden paid a visit to Louisiana on Friday to get a close-up look at the damage resulting from Hurricane Ida that ravaged the region earlier in the week.

Biden was accompanied by Gov. John Edwards as well as GOP Sens. Bill Cassidy and John Kennedy, and also encountered a number of local government officials and dignitaries from the areas hardest hit by the flooding, wind damage, and downed power lines produced by the storm.

Eagle-eyed observers, however, noticed that Biden – or his handlers – may not have felt confident about his ability to remember or keep straight the names of the VIPs he was set to greet during the visit, as in his pocket was a sort of cheat-sheet that included the names, titles, and photographs of the individuals he was set to meet, according to the New York Post, such as those of New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell and Jefferson Parish President Cynthia Lee Sheng.

The cringeworthy moments did not stop there, however, as video emerged of Biden’s muddled, halting delivery that was replete with awkward pauses and stumbling confusion. Watch:

After concluding his remarks, the president appeared baffled as to which way to turn next, despite the assistance of a staffer who attempted to direct him by saying, “This way, sir,” a suggestion that Biden disregarded and continued on his own, misguided path.

Sadly, these sorts of episodes are nothing new, and the evidence that, as former White House physician-now-Congressman Ronny Jackson (R-TX) has asserted, “there is something so obviously wrong with Biden’s cognitive fitness” is impossible for anyone – save the sycophantic liberal press – to ignore.
