So far, 2022 isn’t being kind to famous television actors. First it was Betty White (on Dec. 31, but close enough), and then the bombshell news of comedian Bob Saget’s death. Unfortunately, that number grew once again.
According to Fox News, Bachelorette alum Clint Arlis, 34, who appeared on the 11th season of the hit show, has died. There were no immediate reports concerning the cause of his death or hints of how it might have happened, which will likely be revealed after a proper investigation.
Scott Bayer, Arlis’ high school wrestling coach, made the announcement of the young star’s death in a Twitter post.
“On behalf of all of us in the Batavia Wrestling Family, we send our deepest and most sincere condolences to the Arlis Family during this period unimaginable heartbreak and grief. To the Arlis Family, we loved Clint. We love you. 10/10,” Bayer wrote.
Outside of his acting career in 2015, Arlis was an architectural engineer.

Arlis’ stint on the program, which attempts to match up an eligible bachelorette with a bachelor, was the same season as Kaitlyn Bristowe, who also issued a statement on social media following news of the young man’s death.
“Alright this is an Instagram Story I did not think I’d be doing tonight but Clint, who was on my season of the Bachelorette, I’m going to say tragically, he’s tragically passed. 34 years old. I’m not sure what happened, how it happened,” Bristowe wrote.
She added: “I just don’t know much right now and it’s none of my business. This Instagram Story is literally to just say to anyone who knows him, who might follow me, that I am so sorry. It’s such a huge loss and I’m honestly just beside myself with this news.”
