Arizona attorney general calls for Kamala Harris to be removed as ‘border czar’

Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich penned a letter to President Joe Biden over the actions of Vice President Kamala Harris on the border crisis, according to The Washington Examiner

“Her response to the border crisis has been absolutely abysmal, so I am requesting that she be replaced as your ‘border czar,’” Brnovich wrote, referencing the so-called “border czar.”

According to Brnovich, his state has been inundated with a record-breaking surge of illegal immigrants and they require immediate action on a federal level.

Brnovich also called out the administration for their complete disregard for calls from states, such as Arizona, who need the help of the administration to fend off the influx of illegal aliens.

According to the state attorney general, he has not only taken official channels to reach the administration, but reached out to Harris, who has yet to visit the border in person, directly.

“I have not received a response from Vice President Harris or anyone in your administration,” Brnovich said.

While Harris has hosted a video call with the president of Mexico since taking on the role of point person for the border crisis, congressional leaders and those from border states are calling for more.

“We cannot afford to wait another day, week, or month of apathy and inaction by any official in your administration. I conclude by respectfully requesting that Vice President Harris be replaced as America’s ‘border czar,’” Brnobich said.

Americans are equally as frustrated with Harris’ job performance with one social media user weighing in saying of Biden’s appointment, “He d*** well needs to do something, she has no interest,” while another posed a different solution saying, “Just ditch her altogether. She is SO wrong for America, but then so is Joe Biden.”
